He’s been kicking and screaming about “more Washington”, “politics as usual”, “partisanship”, and how awful Congress is in general. Obama’s address at the GOP retreat two weeks ago was near the beginning of “The Obama No-Fair Tour” – he’s lost his momentum and Americans are starting to wake up and smell a rat. Obama has launched a blitz of speeches starting with his State of the Union that consist of “Why don’t you guys like me anymore? It’s all Bush’s fault. Congress is mean and the Republicans tried to thwart me. I’m going to cut spending next year.” His goose is cooked and he knows it. His only response is to lecture the Republicans. Look how sad he looks here. Poor guy – maybe if he went to frolic at a college basketball game he would feel better and maybe got some yummy ice cream. If only the GOP could forget he was black for a bit like Chris Matthews.
