Times have been too real lately. From the rightwing christian militia bombing of the Russian subway on Monday (sorry Muslim extremists, I couldn’t resist), to the ObamaCare bill shoved down our throats, to Biden’s infuriating redistribution of wealth quips. Apparently the real times have taken their toll on Obama. His drinking is up. His smoking is up. Unemployment is up. We can see why Obama lipsyncs most of his speeches. You cannot ALWAYS be on point.
Americans have a short memory. ObamaCare was forced down our throats and we are angry. Obama’s recent approval ratings are lower than ever. But, have we forgotten that Obama won a Nobel Peace prize for this, IN ADVANCE?! Wait, can the Nobel Committee see the future?
Or is there one? Nine members of a rightwing Christian militia in the US were charged yesterday with plotting to murder a policeman and then bomb his funeral in an attempt to provoke an anti-government uprising.
Yes there are nutjobs out there. See Norman Leboon below, nutjob plus Dem poster child (imagine the Dem’s squealing with glee as they attempt to link this nutjob with ALL right-wing activism), the crazy who gets credit for threatening to kill Eric Cantor.
But does the presence of genuine loons erase THESE RECENT STATEMENTS BY OUR DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY?!:
Anti-immigration: “Rightwing extremist groups’ frustration over a perceived lack of government action on illegal immigration has the potential to incite individuals or small groups toward violence. If such violence were to occur, it likely would be isolated, small-scale, and directed at specific immigration-related targets.”
Recruiting returning vets: “Rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat.”
Gun-related violence: “Heightened interest in legislation for tighter firearms…may be invigorating rightwing extremist activity, specifically the white supremacist and militia movements.”
Could there be genuine freaks with guns and Bibles who hate Jews plotting to fight our police and our government? Certainly, see Norman above. But combine DHS newest ‘take-downs’ with Barack’s famous lines about Pennsylvanians:
The above events, taken in pieces, are relatively benign. Zoom out to see the big picture, and we see a concerted movement by our left-wing government to a) demonize Christians, b) demonize patriots and veterans, c) blame EVERYONE who disagrees with the Dems as anti-Semitics (which is odd, cause the right-wingers have consistently been Israel-backers while the left takes every opportunity to blast them) and d) to villify ALL speech against the current administration. (See the Tea Partiers.) How many readers would love to see the day where the ATF and DHS expends at least a TENTH as much energy arresting and posturing against KNOWN MUSLIM terrorists?
So the above ‘militias’ may have been genuine nuts – that notwithstanding, let’s watch the vigor of the media as they attempt to paint ALL opposition to our RADICAL government as Bible-toting, gun-wielding crazies. Martial Law anyone? Surely no one thinks that is on the horizon except for more nuts. Right?
