Ain’t Nothing Gonna Burqa My Stride

Sarkozy and Obama have been facing similar issues lately. Both continually try to be seen as a populist while chipping away at constituent-rights, both rode the Haitian Crisis Wave with grand gestures of generosity, and both leaders are of the weakest ilk the globe has ever seen. But in France, the nation of ‘walking the line’, the leader appears to be giving the finger to political correctness and brings up Obama’s sacred cow, Muslim-anything, and says he’d like to ban the burqa. Can you imagine the uproar here if Obama banned an article of clothing, especially if it made sense?

Democrats and Elevators = Evergreen

This is a classic ‘feel-good’ video, perfect for a Friday. It’s important to retain a solid sense of humor in the face of psycho-policies and class wars. Certainly there is SOME license here – Notice how CALM the Democrats are in their panic. There is no Barney Frank running up and down the elevator, no Cindy Sheehan with a bull-horn, no picketers and no liberal media to stir up hysteria, I mean “document” their plight.

No Pakistan=Boring

Obama’s State of the Union last night was dissapointing. He didn’t say ‘Pakistan’ once. He DID say “I” 9,456,362 times. I found myself focusing on Biden and Pelosi more than Obama. I bet Pelosi HATES Joe Biden.

The ‘Birthers’

If Chris Matthews and his jaw were wound any tighter on this issue, he’d likely bite his own tongue off. He asks McCain’s challenger if he is a “Birther.” It sounds like a pro-life label. That’s funny.  Chris treats Hayworth like he’s a teenage boy about to take his 15 year old daughter out on a date. Perhaps Mr. Matthews should produce a birth certificate of his own. You know, just to prove that he’s human.

ARE YOU THAT ‘FAR RIGHT?’

The Kids Don’t Stand A Chance

Denial can sometimes be a survival mechanism: like when walking on white-hot coals at a Tony Robbins convention, running a marathon, or being questioned by a Grand Jury. Denial can sometimes be suicide: like not getting off Mount Saint Helens when it’s belching ash towers into the heavens. Thought control works a bit like Pavlov’s Law- it counts on humanity’s ability to adapt and place one foot in front of the other, even in the face of impending doom. It’s human nature to blindly stumble on – we are all going to die and yet we still budget for a new TV, plan the trip to Disneyland, get excited about matching living room sets and play Pictionary. Humans have gotten good at living in the moment, we have to be because around the corner is death. We are perfect subjects for conditioning, as our survival DEPENDS on it. While the knee-jerk response is to blame a faction, garbage like this transcends factions. Liberals aren’t the only creatures that crave and wield power, although the Libs make excellent tools for furthering self-destructive agendas. Stockholm Syndrome much? And this “mind-numbing, will-stealing” agenda is not from the Right or the Left, it’s from those who are in power and those who are positioning for power. And not in some Dan Brown vein, but in an “every type/brand/model of government/denizens throughout our documented history” sort of way.
Conditional ignorance is as blissful as legitimate ignorance. Right?
