The Kids Don’t Stand A Chance

Denial can sometimes be a survival mechanism: like when walking on white-hot coals at a Tony Robbins convention, running a marathon, or being questioned by a Grand Jury. Denial can sometimes be suicide: like not getting off Mount Saint Helens when it’s belching ash towers into the heavens. Thought control works a bit like Pavlov’s Law- it counts on humanity’s ability to adapt and place one foot in front of the other, even in the face of impending doom. It’s human nature to blindly stumble on – we are all going to die and yet we still budget for a new TV, plan the trip to Disneyland, get excited about matching living room sets and play Pictionary. Humans have gotten good at living in the moment, we have to be because around the corner is death. We are perfect subjects for conditioning, as our survival DEPENDS on it. While the knee-jerk response is to blame a faction, garbage like this transcends factions. Liberals aren’t the only creatures that crave and wield power, although the Libs make excellent tools for furthering self-destructive agendas. Stockholm Syndrome much? And this “mind-numbing, will-stealing” agenda is not from the Right or the Left, it’s from those who are in power and those who are positioning for power. And not in some Dan Brown vein, but in an “every type/brand/model of government/denizens throughout our documented history” sort of way.
Conditional ignorance is as blissful as legitimate ignorance. Right?
